Saith Sakala, a striker for Konkola Blades, has described the ongoing transitional league as highly competitive and tricky.
Sharp Razor is topping the league table with 12 points from five games played.
Blades have won four games and lost one match.
Sakala joined Konkola Blades from Kabwe Warriors following the expiration of his contract.
He has only featured in two matches since the season began after he was sidelined due to a metacarpal fracture injury, which saw him out of action for 6 weeks.
Speaking to Bolanews in an exclusive interview, Sakala described the league as tough and unpredictable.
“I would describe the league as a very competitive and tricky transition league. Every team is capable of giving you a difficult game, regardless of their position on the table. The level of competition is high, and you have to adapt quickly, both tactically and physically,” he said.
“Playing for Konkola Blades has given me a different perspective on the league. You cannot afford to underestimate any opponent because every match comes with its own challenges,” he added.

Sakala further noted that there is still room for improvement going forward.
“I believe there is still room for improvement, especially in infrastructure, professionalism, and player welfare, but overall, the league is growing and moving in the right direction,” concluded Sakala.
