Red Arrows demolished Nkwazi 4-0 to take the top spot in the Zambian Premier League with their biggest win during matchday seven fixtures.
Brian Mwila, a former Chipolopolo Boys hitman, scored his first hat trick in the super league this year while Mazabuka-based FC MUZA extended their league unbeaten run.
Before, Ricky Banda’s goal in the 62nd minute, Arrows had scored three goals in the opening half from Ebengo Ikoko, Benedict Chepeshi, and an own goal by Onesimus Chipango.
This was Nkwazi second loss of the campaign as the Police-sponsored team failed to win any of their previous six games.
Andrew Phiri clinched a winner in the 16th minute to give FC MUZA a 1-0 victory over Mufulira Wanderers in Mazabuka.
The victory pushed the Mazabuka side into second place on the log, one point behind the Red Arrows on 17 points.
At Sunset Stadium, Zanaco defeated Konkola Blades 3-0 thanks to Brian Mwila’s hat-trick in the second half.

Austine Banda’s goal in the 83rd minute offset Harrison Chisala’s score, preventing Napsa Stars from being the first team to give Nkana their first victory of the year.
