Zambian under-20 midfielder Chipyoka Songa has joined Israeli second-division side Nes Ziona on a season-long loan deal from Zesco United.
The 19-year-old was one of the standout players for Zambia at the 2023 under-20 Africa Cup of Nations squad in Egypt.
Songa joins his compatriots, Richard Ngoma and Gift Mphande, who also recently moved to Israel.
Mpande also joined second-tier club Hapel Rishon Lezion on a loan from Atletico Lusaka FC last month.
He spent two weeks in Italy attending trials at Cagliari FC, but no deal was reached before moving to Israel.
Ngoma, on the other hand, was loaned out this season to Ramat Gan by his club Maccabi Netanya this season.
He is the second Zambian player to play for Netanya, following US Lecce star Lameck Banda, who spent a season with the club in 2020.
