PSG have allowed the Saudi side to have negotiations with Kylian Mbappe after making a world record bid of £259m. Reports The BBC
The PSG and France forward has one year remaining on his contract with the French Champions. PSG are desperate to cash in for Mbappe, rather than let him walk out of the club next summer for free.
However it’s understood that the 24-year-old France captain has refused to sign an extension with PSG. He has now been left out of the Japan pre-season tour.
Should Mbappe agree to sign this deal, he will become the world’s most expensive player surpassing Neymar’s £200m move from Barcelona to PSG in 2017.
Al Hilal are one of the clubs owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. They have already signed Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly this summer.
