Real Madrid have approached David De Gea after Courtois’ ACL injury reports Skysports.
De Gea is a free agent following his exit from Manchester United this summer.
Thibaut Courtois suffered an ACL injury during training this summer and will have to undergo surgery.
The La Liga giants are exploring goalkeeper options in light of Courtois’ injury. They have now made contact with De Gea’s representatives. Madrid are also considering a move for Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga who’s their prime target.
De Gea left the Red Devils after 12 seasons at Old Trafford having made 545 appearances, that is the most by any goalkeeper in United’s history.
