Daley Blind is set to join La Liga side Girona after being released by Bayern Munich, according to reports by Fabrizio Romano.
The former Manchester United defender joined the Red Devils for a fee of £14million in 2014 under Louis van Gaal. During his four-year spell at Old Trafford, he won the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League.
He left Old Trafford in 2018 for Ajax in a deal worth €16million, during Jose Mourinho’s time at the club.
He has played only five games for the German Champions since joining them in January. The 33 year old is now set to undergo a medical at Girona ahead of signing a two-year deal.
