Everton will sign Ashley Young after he rejected an offer from new Premier league side Luton.

Fabrizio Romano says “Ashley Young medical will take place later today. He will sign the contract right after as a new Everton player on a free transfer.”

Everton are ready to make the former England right-back their first summer signing on a one-year deal.

The former Manchester United utility player was released by Aston Villa following the expiration of his contract.

He won the Premier League with Manchester United in 2013, as well as the Serie A with Inter Milan in 2021. Young will bring a lot of experience to Everton which will make him a valuable asset to Sean Dyche.
