Manchester United will sign young English talented fullback from Watford, Harry Amass.

The 16 year old, England under 16 international, has agreed a four year contract with United.

The deal is expected to be completed this week.

Amass featured regularly for Watford’s under-18 side last season. He also put in an impressive display against Everton and Arsenal in the FA Youth Cup.

Meanwhile, Manchester United’s £55m bid for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount remains on the table. However, an impasse in talks has led United to refocus on other targets, including Brighton’s Moises Caicedo and Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot.
