Tottenham Hotspurs are ready to sign Ashley Phillips after £3m transfer fee has been agreed with Blackburn. Reports The Sun.
He will undergo a medical in the next 24 hours and should everything go to plan, the young center-back could join Spurs on their pre-season tour in the Asia-Pacific.
The 18-year-old England youth international made 11 appearances for Rovers last season. He has long been admired by Spurs who finally are close to getting their man.
Spurs are still keen to add two new defenders, despite the move for Phillips.
