David Moyes confirms that Manchester United accepted a bid from West Ham United for Harry Maguire.

The Dailymail reported earlier this week the Hammers submitted an improved bid of £30m for Maguire, United had accepted the offer in principle. However, a deal has yet to be concluded.

The Red Devils want to sign a replacement if Maguire leaves, with Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba as prime target. United had valuated Maguire at £50m. However, they have accepted a compromise given their need to offload fringe members of the squad.
