EPL: Man City turn to Nunes

Manchester City are now looking to sign Matheus Nunes from Wolves, according to Skysports. The English Champions are assessing alternatives targets to Lucas Paqueta, whose £80m move from West Ham broke down this month.

The treble winners have also lost Kevin de Bruyne to long-term injury in the early part of the new season.

Unfortunately for City, Wolves are unlikely to sell Nunes and it would take a big offer for them to change their minds.

The 24 year-old has completed the most take-ons in the Premier League so far this season and no player in Europe’s top seven divisions has won more duels.
