Lucas Paqueta’s move from West Ham to Manchester City is not going to happen, as the deal is now completely off. Skysports has confirmed.

The Hammers and City had agreed in principal an £80m deal for the player to make the switch last week. However that was put on hold as the player was the subject of an FA investigation into alleged betting breaches.

Paqueta is willing to cooperate in any way with any investigation. He says he has not placed any bets himself and is shocked by reports. The 25 year-old has four years left on his West Ham contract.
