West Ham are set to finalise the €20m plus €5m add-ons deal for Konstantinos Mavropanos from Stuttgart. Reports The Dailymail
The centre-back had his medical over the weekend and was at London Stadium during the 3-1 win over the Blues. He becomes the Hammers’ 3rd summer signing, after James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez joined.
Mavropanos is backup for first-choice pair Nayef Aguerd and Kurt Zouma as well as giving Moyes the option of using a back-three. The Greek defender has been a key target for the Hammers since their move for Manchester United’s Harry Maguire collapsed.
