Mauricio Pochettino needed an attacking player since losing Christopher Nkunku to a long-term knee injury earlier this month. The young winger scored against Arsenal in the Community Shield and against Sevilla in the Super Cup. He becomes the 13th player to move to Stamford Bridge this summer after Chelsea offloaded a number of players this period.
