Al Ittihad are set to approach Liverpool with a concrete offer to buy Fabinho reports The Athletic.
The Saudi Pro League club’s bid for the midfielder is expected to be worth £40million. It’s also understood that a decision will be made sooner rather than later.
Fabinho still has three years remaining on his current contract with the Mersey side, that will run up to 2026.
The Reds are now considering a replacement option should Fabinho leave, with Southampton’s Romeo Lavia as one of their main targets.
