Zambian coach Kelvin Kaindu recorded his first defeat of the season as Hardrock FC lost 2-nil to CAPS United in the Zimbabwean Premier Soccer League on Saturday.
In a week 4 encounter, log leaders CAPS United took the lead just two minutes into the match.
Kaindu bemoaned poor defending in a post match interview as their downfall in a match he felt his side otherwise dominated.
“Conceding within two or three minutes, especially against a team in form, makes it difficult to come back,” Kaindu said.
“Even for the second goal, we were the team in possession. We lost it from a throw-in, they managed to get a cross in, and it was a goal similar to the first. As a coach, I’ve seen enough to know where we need to start improving.”
The newly promoted side has recorded two wins, one draw and a defeat.
Meanwhile, Zambian defender Chitoshi Chinga played 90 minutes for CAPS United, his fourth full match for the season.
CAPS United are top with 12 points, while Hardrock slipped two places to fifth after the setback with eight points from four matches.
