Although he has not yet revealed where he will be playing in the upcoming season, the 28-year-old lanky defender has been linked with clubs in Belgium’s top flight and Saudi Arabia, with some clubs in America also showing interest.

Hadebe is one of the players who have been released by the club at the end of their contracts.

His season was hampered this year by injuries that limited him to less game time. He only appeared in 14 games and started 12, limiting his impact on the team.

Hadebe was part of the full Warriors team that played against Rwanda and Nigeria in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. He appeared in both games and is still an important member of the Warriors squad.

He previously had stints in Turkey and South Africa, where he established himself before joining the Houston Dynamo.

On Monday the former Kaizer Chiefs defender wrote on his X account

“To all the wins I have had all the great times this is goodbye to the team and marking a farewell to end of season at Houston Dynamo and the coaches, Ted, Pat, Asher, Nick and the technical staff thank you for trusting me. I will forever be grateful to my teammates and fans.”
