Lungu has not made the match-day squad in more than six consecutive weeks. He is now prepared to part ways with the nine-time Zambian champions, a source close to the player has revealed to BolaNews.

It’s also understood that Lungu is now getting frustrated at the club since the arrival of Lwandamina in Ndola.

He is said to be considering his options for next season, with a number of Super League clubs expected to line up for a potential swoop.

“It has been the toughest period of his playing career because he was impressive last year but can no longer make the squad. It is every player’s dream to play football…. But if he is not given the chance, then he has to consider other options,” the source said.
