FC MUZA have had a slow start to the 2024-25 season, managing five wins, six draws and lost four times.
With 21 points from 15 games, the Elegant Dynamites are ninth in the Zambian Premier League standings.
Midfielder Rickson Ng’ambi told Bolanews exclusively that the team have been unlucky not to pick positive results.
Ng’ambi has featured in 12 matches, scored one goal and provided one assist.
“It’s really hard to point out the problem because we prepared so well for this season, but it didn’t work the way we expected otherwise we are doing the right things we are just unfortunate,”he said.
Ng’ambi, will seek to bounce back stronger after the season mid-break.
“We have to pick ourselves up and be the team that everyone knows, a team known for their winning mentality and play the entertaining passing game,”noted Ng’ambi.
He is hopeful the team will pick maximum points against a confident, Nkana side, coached by Mwenya Chipepo.
“It’s a game that is holding our ABSA Cup dreams, we know they are playing good football and winning their games, but we are going there to collect maximum points,” concluded Ng’ambi.
FC MUZA will take on Nkana in a Week 17 fixture at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe on Saturday.
