Although his team has lost back-to-back games and is now in the relegation zone, Zanaco head coach Numba Mumamba is still confident of survival.
With 23 points from 23 games, Zanaco fell to second from bottom and needed a turnaround to avoid down to the second division.

A 2-0 home loss to FC MUZA at Nkoloma Stadium on Sunday followed a 4-0 humiliation away to Power Dynamos the previous weekend.
“Not Worried” About the Log Position” Speaking after the match, Mumamba dismissed concerns over the team’s position.
“I’m personally not worried about where the team is sitting,”he said. “We have a team that will push us out of relegation. We just have to push them in training so they give us their best and move out of relegation as quickly as possible.”
FC MUZA secured the victory with quick goals from Biston Banda in the fourteenth minute and Emmanuel Habasimbi in the sixth.

Zanaco created chances of their own but failed to convert, a key factor in their second straight loss. Mumamba acknowledged that poor finishing cost them.
“We lost two games in a row, and I think we didn’t do much in terms of finishing,”he admitted. “FC MUZA capitalized on two chances they had, but we created eight chances in this game and wasted them. That led to this loss. We need to improve upfront because you can’t create that many chances and leave the pitch without a goal.”
Despite the setback, Mumamba remains confident in his players, pointing to past performances as proof of their capability.
“The quality is there. They have shown they can do it,” he said. “Looking at the games we have won, they were not easy. If we have the right attitude and believe in ourselves, we will move out of relegation.”
