Zesco and Nkana will battle it out in a Week 15 MTN-FAZ league fixture at Nkana Stadium following the resumption of the league on Sunday.
The Zambian Premier League went on recess a fortnight ago due to the after going on an 2025 AfCON in Morocco.
Before the break, Zega Mambo registered a goalless stalemate against FC Leopards and will be looking for a positive result against Kalampa, currently fighting relegation.
The nine-time Super League Champions are 8th placed on the log with 19 points from 14 matches played so far.
Nkana, thirteen-times Zambian champions are 17th second from bottom, with 10 points from 14 matches played thus far.
Speaking ahead of the match, Zesco United head coach Emmanuel Siwale said his team is ready for a win.
“The preparations have been going on very well, and we are playing Nkana, which is one of the big clubs just like us, and I know it won’t be an easy game. It’s going to be tough, but I am sure it’s going to be very interesting,” he said.
“We are all big guns, but for us, we know where we are, and our focus and objectives remain the same. So collecting maximum points, we will be moving in the right direction,” he added.
The match promises to be a tough encounter as both sides are aiming for nothing but a win.
“It’s going to be tough, but we all want it most, but speaking of Zesco United, we want the three points, nothing else,” emphasized Siwale.
