Forest Rangers Assistant Coach Dennis Makinka feels his side have improved and are ready to face Zesco United.
Rangers will take a short trip to Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Saturday, to face City rivals Zesco United in a Week 26 fixture.
Fole Malembe are coming from a back of a goalless draw against Mutondo Stars last weekend.
Forest are still struggling in the relegation zone with 26 points from 25 matches played so far.
The Ndola based side have won five games, drawing eleven and losing nine times.
With only 11 games remaining before the close of the league, Malembe will need to collect 15 points to stand a chance of surviving relegation.
“Will Go There With A Plan” – Makinka.
Speaking ahead of the match, Forest Rangers assistant Coach, Dennis Makinka declared his side ready to face Zesco United.
“From the last games we have had, I think we have been too careful three draws consecutively the last one against Mutondo (0-0) managed to keep a clean sheet in a long time so I think there is massive improvement in terms of concentration especially towards the end of the game,“said Makinka.
“It’s not going to be an easy game we expect a tough match, but will go there with a plan. We started planning for them on Monday then will see how it goes,”noted the Coach.
“Players are so motivated you know when you play against your town mates every derby we play for bragging rights so obviously everyone is looking forward to the game,”concluded Makinka.
A victory for Forest Rangers would put them in 12th place with 29 points.
