Twelve players, including Godfrey, Boyeli, leave Power Dynamos

Power Dynamos have released twelve players ahead of the 2024-25 season, the former Champions have let go some of their prized players.

Dynamos with new coach Oswald Mutapa finished third on the log with 56 points and subsequently failed to defend the title they won with former coach Mwenya Chipepo during the 2022-23 season.

According to a statement shared on the club’s website, Aba Yellow have recorded departures of twelve players.

Those who have left include team captain Godfrey Ngwenya who has joined 2024-25 league champions Red Arrows on a permanent deal. Andy Boyeli has joined South African side Sekhukhune United Football club.

Boyeli, a Congolese emerged as the league’s top scorer with 17 goals during the 2022-23 successful season with Power Dynamos.

Joshua Mutale has joined Tanzanian giants Simba Sporting Club while other nine players have been released.

“Following the end of the 2023-2024 football season, the Club would like to inform its stakeholders that it has recorded the following departures” announced Club Chairperson in charge of media, Pamela Singala Mupoti said.

Francis Zulu – Returns to parent Club, Prison Leopards.

Moses Phiri – Expiry of loan deal.

Chabu Chisenga – Expiry of contract.

White Mwanambaba – Expiry of contract.

Hamza Adama – Expiry of Contract.

Kalonji Mwepu- Expiry of contract.

Laurent Muma – Mutual separation.

Lionel Bong – Mutual separation.

Kouassi Kouadja – Mutual separation.
