Kansanshi Dynamos were held 1-1 by fellow struggling side, Mines United in a Week 9 super league match on Saturday at Independence Stadium in Solwezi, failing to utilize home field advantage to snap their winless streak.
Speaking after the match, Kansanshi Dynamos head coach Zeddy Saileti admitted his team’s struggles in front of goal have continued to cost them crucial points.
“A point not enough at home,” Saileti said bluntly after the final whistle. “Again very disappointing playing at home picking one point it’s not enough.“
It was another frustration for the Mabanga Boys, who are still chasing their first win of the season since earning promotion back to the Super League.
Despite creating several scoring opportunities, they failed to make their dominance count.
“We planned to pick the maximum points. Lot of chances we could have scored even more than two goals, we created lot of chances we didn’t take our chances,” Saileti explained.

For Kansanshi Dynamos, the draw not only extended their winless run but also highlighted a worrying trend their inability to score more than one goal in a match this season.
“They had one chance and they scored. We started panicking, we equalized but we failed again to score the second goal,” Saileti added.
