Kitwe-based Zambian Super League side, Power Dynamos, have won the race for the highly sought-after midfielder Kelvin Mwanza.

The 21-year-old has been in demand since leaving Mazabuka top-flight side FC Muza after his contract expired.

Mwanza, who turned down a new offer from FC Muza, attracted interest from several Zambian Super League teams, including Zesco United, Nchanga Rangers, NAPSA Stars, and Zanaco FC.

BolaNews understands that Mwanza, who made history as the youngest Super League captain over the past two seasons, also had opportunities to move to Europe. However, he ultimately chose Power Dynamos with reason believed that the club align with his career path and development goals as key factors in his decision.

Mwanza joined Power Dynamos for their pre-season training on Monday as he looks to integrate into the squad. With the new season set to kick off in less than two weeks.
