Coach Numba Mumamba of Kabwe Warriors, a team in the Super League, has urged his players to take use of the opportunities presented before their matchup with the Green Buffaloes.
Warriors will host Buffaloes in a week 10 fixture at the Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium on Saturday in what promises to be a mouthwatering encounter.
Both sides have been playing well lately. The home club is coming into this game with a lot of confidence after defeating Zesco United 2-1 the previous weekend, while the visiting squad shared points with North-Western Kansanshi Dynamos.
Speaking to the club’s media prior to the game, Numba expressed his continued resolve to see the team finish in the top two, given how long it had been since the team last achieved that status.
“It’s a motivation to the team especially the players. I think it’s been a long time since warriors were on top, I think this will motivate the team going into the next games,”noted Numba.
The former Zanaco boss urged the players to utilize the chances created as they face a tough and wounded buffalo side.
“We haven’t been clinical in the last three games that we have played. If we were clinical, we would have scored a lot of goals. But this is what we have noticed, and we need to work on it so that we can improve in the other coming games,”.

Warriors, tied on second place with Red Arrows on 18 points and separated only by a goal difference, would take the top spot in the standings with a victory over Buffaloes.
