Nkana, the 13-time Zambian champions, will play Zanaco at Nkana Stadium on Wednesday aiming to keep their title aspirations alive.
Zanaco leads in the head-to-head record since 2008, winning 12 of their 31 league encounters, while Kalampa has won 9.
Zanaco has to win to avoid relegation zone while Nkana needs to win to get into the top two.
In their most recent meeting, which took place in November, Zanaco prevailed by a slim 1-0 margin.
Nkana is 18 points ahead of 14th-place Zanaco in the MTN Super League standings with 51 points from 29 games.
Mwenya Chipepo’s team will be aiming for a win after a 1-1 draw away to Forest Rangers last week.
Wednesday’s match could hold big ramifications for Nkana’s title dreams, as they are seven points behind town rivals Power Dynamos. Zanaco is sitting 14th with 32 points and desperate to avoid the relegation battle.
Ahead of this match, Zanaco suffered a 3-1 home defeat against Nkwazi, a dent of Numba Mumamba’s quest to survive relegation.
