Ngosa Sunzu has been training with MTN Super League side Napsa Stars after returning from a stint with FC Silon Taborsko in the Czech Republic’s First National League.
The former Under-20 midfielder, who can also operate as a defender, is currently a free agent after making over 33 appearances in both league and cup competitions for Czech clubs Teplice, Pribram, and Silon Taborsko.
Sunzu, who once played for Napsa Stars in his early career, also had a loan spell with Hapoel Ra’anana between 2016 and 2017.
Speaking to Bola News, the 26-year-old clarified that he has not signed any contract with the Lusaka-based club but is training with them to stay in shape.
“I’m in the country as a free agent, though I have a few offers,” he said. “I’m waiting patiently to have a good start. My stay in Czech was a good experience which taught me a lot. It exposed me to new tactics which have made me better.”
Sunzu said he is still exploring his options before making a final decision on his next club.
“I am keeping an open mind and have yet to make up my mind. I’ve been training with a couple of teams and currently am training with Napsa Stars as well as having personal training sessions,” he added.
