South African DSTV Premiership side, Kaizer Chiefs, has invited Zambian Super League’s Nchanga Rangers FC captain Christian Saile to attend trials at their club in the hopes of signing him in the January transfer window.
The Congolese forward was instrumental in Nchanga Rangers’ promotion to the Zambian Super League after scoring 19 goals and winning the Golden Boot award in the National Division One League.
Saile has so far scored five goals in the Zambian Super League to pique Chiefs’ interest.
Close sources at Nchanga Rangers have confirmed to BolaNews that their talisman was released by the club to attend trials with Kaizer Chiefs after the Zambian League went on a break last weekend.
“Yes, Christian Saile is currently in South Africa with the Kaizer Chiefs going through trials, and he is doing so well so far; he even scored four goals today in a friendly this afternoon,” revealed the source.
The Congolese player joined Rangers in 2021 after playing in Germany’s fourth division.
He could become only the second Nchanga Rangers player to play for Kaizer Chiefs, after Wedson Nyirenda in 1993.
