In a replay of last season, when they started their season on a bad run of form, Napsa Stars’ two consecutive losses have caused them to occupy unfamiliar position on the log table after two games.
But Napsa stars head coach Perry Mutapa believes his side is not far from the top four in the Zambian Super League.

As the pensioners face Kansanshi Dynamos at Lusaka’s Woodlands stadium on Saturday, Mutapa, says a win will be vital to begin playing catch up among the early pacers.
“If you look at the difference between us and those at the top, there is only a difference of four points, meaning, if we win, we will improve our standings on the table; otherwise, we are very confident,” said Mutapa.
The former Power Dynamos Coach believes with injury concerns in the squad, the players in camp have what it takes to respond to criticism and pressure.
Kansanshi seeking first season victory as Napsa.
“Most players are out due to injury, but I am very happy to have some players back in the squad. Others also some of the new signings which we have made. Going forward we should have a stable team that will begin getting us results going forward,”
For Kansanshi Dynamos, back-to-back draws against Trident and Mufulira Wanderers will prompt them to take aim against Napsa Stars as they also seek for their first win of the season.

This Saturday’s schedule also includes an intriguing match between MUZA Football Club and Mutondo Stars, who just defeated Nkana Football Club one nil at Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa stadium.
