Mutondo Stars head coach Zeddy Saileti has praised his team for returning to winning ways after going five games unbeaten.
The Kitwe-based side beat Kansanshi Dynamos 2-0 in a Week 14 fixture played at Arthur Davies Stadium.
Titus Chansa was the hero in that game, scoring a hat trick and helping his team earn their fifth victory of the season.
Mutondo, who had kicked off their campaign on a good note, suddenly lost momentum and went five games without a win, losing four times and drawing once.
Coach Saileti said the win came at the right time, as it will motivate the team going forward.
“I think we have done well because we went four games without getting a point and last week we got a point away to the Buffaloes and against Kansanshi, we got the maximum points. I think this was our plan and I think it’s a turning point. We just need to work hard.
“The win was very important for us because it will motivate the team and players… And even the coaches will know where to start from.”
Saileti is high on confidence ahead of his team’s clash with Kabwe Warriors this Saturday.
“As we face Kabwe Warriors, we will go there with a positive mind,” he said. “It has given us a lot of confidence with the boys.”
