In their second league game at Konkola Stadium, Konkola Blades lost to FC MUZA by a score of 2 goals to 1.
During the season opener, at Levy Mwanawasa stadium, Konkola Blades registered a nil-all-draw against Zesco United.
However, the Zambian Premier League, gave Blades a 3-0 victory; as Zesco United had used unregistered players in that league match.
Despite suffering their first home loss over the weekend, Blades coach Bestone Chambeshi is confident the team will recover and record positive results.
Speaking in an interview, Chambeshi said that his side will redeem themselves in their next fixture.
“Week two results were tough to take, especially at home, but football teaches us to rise even in difficult moments. We respect FC MUZA for their performance, and for us, this is a lesson to work harder, stay united, and come back stronger in the next game,” said Chambeshi.

Konkola Blades dropped to seventh place on the log with three points from two matches played.
Sharp Razor will bring back memories of National Division One this Saturday when they play Kansanshi Dynamos at Solwezi Independence Stadium.
