FC MUZA coach Lameck Banda, Green Buffaloes coach Masautso Tembo and Power Dynamos coach Mwenya Chipepo are the nominees.
In an interview with Bolanews, Banda expressed his excitement by the nomination, but he does not see himself winning.
Lameck Banda guided MUZA to CAF Confederation Cup qualification as well as their maiden ABSA Cup final before losing 2-0 to Forest Rangers.
Lameck backs Mwenya Chipepo
“It’s something huge, and it encourages me to work extra hard, yes, I will be one of best coaches but not so soon,” he explained.
“Mwenya Chipepo deserves the award taking into account that they have won the league and for coach Masautso Tembo, he has done well at Green Buffaloes, but he cannot win the award, not this time,” he said.
“Andrew Phiri deserves to win,”-Lameck.
With 13 goals to his name, Andrew Phiri, has been nominated in two categories: young player of the year and MTN Super League player of the year.

“He deserves the award for his efforts during the season, remember he was second top scorer in the National league last season and this season again, he is second top scorer,” he said.
Tonight, in Kitwe, on the Copperbelt Province, the 2022-2023 MTN awards ceremony will take place.
