Yoram Kasempa, Kansanshi Dynamos’ interim head coach, has said his team’s upcoming match against defending champions Power Dynamos will be a 50/50 affair because both teams have adequately prepared for it.
Kansanshi Dynamos will meet Power Dynamos in their rescheduled Week 8 fixture at Arthur Davies Stadium on Thursday.
The Solwezi-based side will be seeking to maintain their winning momentum after recording their first victory of the season, a 1-0 against Nchanga Rangers last weekend.
Speaking to the club’s media ahead of the match, Kasempa said: “The morale is high; everyone is ready for the game, and everyone is putting in more effort. Looking forward to the Power Dynamos game, the team is ready.
“It’s a 50/50 situation; we are ready, and they are ready. Don’t forget they were the champions. We are also there; we are going to have a good run.
The Mabanga Boys seem to have renewed hope after the departure of Zeddy Saileti and will look to frustrate the defending champions in front of their home fans.
Sunday’s victory pushed them out of the relegation zone to occupy 14th place with nine points from 10 matches played.
“We have a plan for them; we know how they are doing at home,” Kasempa added.
A win for the Kansanshi side will see them leapfrog ZESCO United and occupy 11th place in the league standings.
