Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club head coach Boyd Mulwanda says his team has been improving despite not picking up maximum points in the last three matches in the Super League, blaming it on his strikers.
The Mabanga Boys are currently in 13th place with 9 points from 9 matches played, recording one win, six draws, and two defeats so far.
The team has managed two consecutive 1-1 draws against Green Buffaloes and Zesco United.
Reacting to Sunday’s draw at Edwin Imboela against the Buffaloes, Mulwanda said his side had shown a lot of improvement in the last two matches.
“It was a difficult game for us,” he told reporters after the game. “Green Buffaloes were playing and coming from two games that they had won. They showed the confidence and determination that they wanted to get maximum points.
He added, “My team showed resilience and they fought. A point away from home is good for us. We are worried but looking at the way we are playing, the team is improving.”
Mulwanda on his strikers
The gaffer also slammed his strikers for the team’s poor run in the season so far, having just scored six goals.
“The striking force is not doing the job that it is supposed to. We are creating chances but we are not getting the goals,” bemoaned Mulwanda.

Kansanshi Dynamos’ next match will be at their adopted home stadium, Nchanga Stadium in Chingola, against Green Eagles.
Mulwanda is optimistic his charges will come to the party and collect maximum points.
“The expectations are very high going into the next match at home. We are going to plan; we have to get all the maximum points at home,” he said.
