Despite having back-to-back league games, Justin Chinama, head coach of Mufulira Wanderers, thinks his team has enough talent to compete.
In their midweek matchup for week eleven, Wanderers and Eagles ended in a goalless draw on Thursday at Choma Independence Stadium.
After moving up from National Division One due to an outstanding performance, Mighty, one of Zambia’s most decorated teams, is fighting to keep their league spot.
Reacting to the result, head coach Justin Chinama praised the team for a good performance away from home.
“We outplayed Eagles in the first half, but in the second half towards the end they came into the game. A draw away from home I think it’s a good result, “noted the Coach.
The club has enough depth, according to the former Green Buffaloes manager, so the back-to-back midweek games don’t hurt the players.
“It is a tough job for coaches to work on the players so that they are not fatigued for playing three games in a space of 10 days,”
“Going into the next game, we will plan again against Napsa on Sunday so that we carry maximum points having dropped two points in Choma,” he added.
