Ahead of the forthcoming 2024–25 Zambian Super League season which kicks off next month, former Prison Leopards winger Junior Zulu is looking forward to a solid start with Mufulira Wanderers.
Wanderers, the nine-time Super League Champions, who last won the championship in 1996, will be hoping to win a tenth league title.
The former Nakambala Leopards winger was excellent for Prison Leopards, contributing five goals and seven assists despite the squad’s relegation.
Junior Zulu signed a one-year loan agreement with Mighty from Leopards, according to a statement from Mufulira Wanderers.
Upon signing for Wanderers, Zulu told the Club’s media that he will fight to help the team get back to competitive football.
“I am delighted to join Mufulira Wanderers football Club, which is a very big team in Zambia. I am here to contribute and will strive to create memorable moments for the fans and the team,” said Zulu.
Zulu’s experience and skill will be cardinal in helping the team seal a permanent place in the Zambian Super league.

Wanderers are currently in Luapula province for a one-week pre-season training shaping up for the upcoming 2024-25 Season. Mighty will kickstart the season at home against Power dynamos.
