Nkana Football Club midfielder Jacob Ngulube is set to leave the record 13-time Zambian champions at the end of his current contract in June, BolaNews understands.
Ngulube, 30, is set to enter the final month of his contract with the Kitwe giants and is believed to be actively looking for a new club ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. According to sources close to the player, he is eager to embrace a fresh challenge away from Nkana Stadium.
The experienced midfielder rejoined Nkana in 2021 after spells with Kansanshi Dynamos and Napsa Stars during the 2020 season. His return marked a second stint with the club, having first featured for the Red Devils in the 2018-19 season.
Should he remain in the MTN Super League, it would mark a fourth top-flight Zambian side for the seasoned campaigner, making him one of the most traveled local midfielders in recent years. Since 2018, Ngulube has moved clubs on four separate occasions.
With Nkana finishing third in the just-ended 2024/25 season, the club is reportedly preparing for life without the industrious midfielder as it restructures for the upcoming campaign.
