He joined at the beginning of the 2023–24 season from Angolan side Clube Desportivo da Huila.

In an exclusive interview with Bolanews, Kouablan stated that the Zambian League has had a positive impact on his football career and that he hopes to walk away with the Golden Boot at the end of the season.

“Since I joined Green Eagles, the Zambian league has had a great impact on me because, as you can see, the results are there and the statistics are there to see. I am scoring and enjoying the league, which has had a huge impact on me.

“My target for this season is to bring my team, Green Eagles, as far as possible, first by qualifying for the ABSA Cup. If possible, win it; then, fight for a place to play continental [football]….. And also, my personal target is to be the top scorer of the league,” stated Kouablan.
