After missing more than three months due to an injury, FC MUZA goalkeeper Emmanuel Banda says he is eager to return to his peak performance.
In the season’s opening round, Banda clashed with a Forest Rangers player, resulting in a dislocated shoulder.
Following surgery, Banda was out for most half of the 2024–25 season due to the injury. He has returned to action and ready to get back to his fine form.
The young goalie only managed to keep two clean sheets in five games prior to his injury.
Banda stated in an exclusive interview with Bolanews that he is putting a lot of effort into regaining his top spot.
“I want to get back to the starting eleven and enjoy the rest of the season. Am working hard day by day, “said Banda.
FC MUZA, meanwhile, has 26 points from 20 games played and occupies the 10th position on the log.
In the meantime, Clifford Mukambi gave up an own goal in the 78th minute on Saturday, causing FC MUZA to lose 0-1 to the hosts, Indeni FC, in their Week 21 away match in Ndola.
