Bartul Tembo, a recently acquired winger, intends to impress Mufulira Wanderers supporters during the 2025–2026 Super League Season.
Tembo, is the club’s first signing made under new head coach Lameck Banda, who recently joined the Mufulira based side.
On a three-year contract, the former Konkola Mines police winger has joined from Kabwe Warriors football club.
During his stay at Warriors, where he spend four years, he scored 19 goals and provided 22 assists.
The Legendary Club took notice of his exceptional accomplishment with the Magnificent’s people team.
In an interview with the Club’s media, Tembo admitted that he is prepared for the new task.
“I have joined Mighty Mufulira Wanderers and am here to make you the fans happy,”
“Putting pen to paper on a permanent deal at Mufulira Wanderers is a standout for me. I’m looking forward to an incredible journey and continuing to build strong relationships with this excellent team. Mufulira Wanderers Supporters are the best and to have them on my side means so much to me,”said Tembo.
Meanwhile, Tembo has joined his new side, during pre-season in preparations for the new season.
He is expected to replicate his fine form at Shinde Stadium.
In the opening match of the 2025–26 season, Mufulira Wanderers will go to Mines United, the hometown of his former team, Warriors.
