On Saturday at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, Forest Rangers will host Nkana Football Club in a week-five fixture.
After losing 3-2 to Mutondo Stars last weekend, Forest will enter this match desperately seeking three points, while Nkana, who shared the spoils with FC MUZA on Wednesday, are still waiting for their first victory of the season.
Newly appointed coach Ian Bakala, who ditched Forest Rangers before the international break, will face his former employers in what promises to be an enticing match.
In the meantime, Bakala appears to have a strategy in place to help the Kitwe giants establish their winning mentality this season.
He stated in a news conference prior to the game that he anticipates a difficult game but that his team is ready to earn every point attainable.
“It’s a crucial match, but I don’t know what they are doing right now because there is a new coach; obviously, he knows me, and I know he is going to change his strategy, and I will also change my strategy. I know their weaknesses and strengths, but it will be a 50/50 game but will make sure we fight to win the game.
“We need to work on finishing, and we will see improvement in the game against Forest. We will forge ahead and be ready for the forest game,” Bakala concluded.
