Malawian international winger Chifundo Mphasi is determined to win his first Zambian Super League title with Power Dynamos this season.

With only five games remaining, Power Dynamos are edging closer to securing their eighth league title. They extended their lead at the top of the table to six points after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Zesco United on Sunday. The team has maintained an impressive unbeaten run in their last 10 matches.

Since joining Power Dynamos at the start of the season, Mphasi has been in outstanding form, contributing three goals and three assists.

Speaking exclusively to BolaNews, Mphasi expressed his determination: “We are enjoying our fine form this time around. I am pushing to put in my best because all we want now is just to win the league. I want to win the league with Power Dynamos and then see what happens from there.”

The former Kabwe Warriors player also highlighted the importance of continental football, saying, “Continental football is another opportunity that can sell you out as a player. So I will put in my best to help my team perform better this time around in continental football.”

Power Dynamos currently lead the table with 57 points from 29 matches, recording 17 wins, six draws, and six losses. Their next challenge comes on Thursday against NAPSA Stars as they push towards being crowned champions of the 2024/25 Super League season.
