Napsa Stars midfielder Larry Bwalya says his main goal for the upcoming season is to help the club secure continental football.
Bwalya joined the pensioners in 2024 after being released by South African side Sekhukhune United, where he made just six appearances.
The former Power Dynamos captain had a decent campaign last season with Napsa Stars, helping the team finish in ninth place.
Napsa Stars last featured in the CAF Confederation Cup in 2021, exiting at the group stage of the competition.
Speaking exclusively to BolaNews, Bwalya said he is determined to help the club return to continental football.
“This season I want to help Napsa Stars to win the league and play CAF football next season,” he said.
The former Simba SC midfielder also offered encouragement to young, upcoming players, urging them to stay grounded and focused.
“My message to the young ones is just to be themselves and believe in what they do because football is the same. They shouldn’t be under pressure,” he added.
Bwalya will be aiming to deliver a standout season with the Pensioners, who begin their MTN Super League campaign against Green Eagles.
