Green Buffaloes forward George Ngoma is about to sign a season-long contract with Zesco United, an exclusive report from Bolanews reveals.

The Ndola-based squad is allegedly close to adding the prolific forward, which will expand their scoring options for the upcoming season.

Green Buffaloes, endured a challenging campaign during the 2023-24 season, narrowly avoiding relegation. However, Ngoma’s individual performances did not go unnoticed, prompting interest from Zesco United.

The urgency stems from Zesco United’s upcoming continental engagement in the CAF Confederation Cup. The “Zesco United” will be facing Dynamos FC of Zimbabwe in the first preliminary round scheduled between August 16th and 25th.

Adding firepower upfront is a priority for coach George Lwandamina, who believes Ngoma’s pace and finishing ability will be instrumental in their continental aspirations.

Zesco United wants to contend for both national and international honors in the next campaign, and Ngoma’s signing is a big step in the right direction.
