The Zambian Super League entered week 23, here is a round-up of today’s games.
Forest Rangers return home with a win, Moyela scores 11th
Forest Rangers defeated Chambishi FC 2-0 this afternoon on their return to Dola Hill Stadium, moving them to 41 points, two points behind leaders Power Dynamos.
Moyela Libamba scored twice for Forest to tie Kennedy Musonda, who is currently playing for Yanga SC, for first place in the league’s goal scorers chart with 11 goals.
Power drop points, Kambole scores his fourth goal
In Kitwe in the Electricity derby, league Leaders Power Dynamos dropped points at home after a 1-1 draw with Zesco United thanks to Andy Boyeli’s late equalizer in the 90th minute which won him the man of the match for the second time in a row.
Lazarus Kambole opened the scoring in the 36th minute as he took his tally to 4 goals in 3 games in the Zambian Super League since his return to Zesco United.
Mutapa records first win with Nkwazi
In Lusaka, Oswald Mutapa managed to record his first victory since taking over as coach when Nkwazi beat struggling Buildcon 2-0.
George Ndhlovu and Peter Mwangani were on target for the Police outfit this afternoon at Edwin Imboeal stadium.
Eagles thrash Kansanshi
In Choma, it was the same story as Alex Namazaba recorded his first victory since he was appointed as the Green Eagles’ head coach.
Lewis Macha scored a brace, and Gift Mwansa was also on target for the Choma-based side who posted a massive 3-1 win.
Kansanshi Dynamos scored their consolation goal through Yanganile.

Lumwana and Warrirors draw
Lumwana Radiants played to a 2-2 draw against visiting Kabwe Warriors.
Josphat Kasusu and Muleta Mubiana were on target for Lumwana, while the Warriors scored through Samuel Onyanga and Weta.
FC MUZA continues unbeaten run at home
In Mazabuka, FC Muza played out a 1-1 draw against Napsa Stars to go six matches unbeaten at home.
Luka Banda was on target for the pensioners, while MUZA scored through Mansasa.
Arrows and Zanaco draw
At Nkoloma stadium in Lusaka, defending champions Red Arrows were held by visiting townmates Zanaco to a goalless draw.
A point for each side was enough for the day.
Buffaloes draw again
In Kabwe, Green Buffaloes recorded their fourth successive draw when they played against Prison Leopards this afternoon at Kabwe’s independence stadium.
The match did not produce a goal.

Nkana Vs Nchanga Rangers
Nkana will host Nchanga Rangers tomorrow at the Chilata for their week 23 fixture in the Zambian Super League.
Having not recorded a win in their last five league matches and currently sitting in 14th place in the standings with 25 points, a point above the relegation zone, Nkana will seek redemption at home.
They host a Nchanga side that is two points above them in the standings and have only managed one win in their last five matches.
Nkana have won five of their last nine matches against Nchanga across all competitions.
