Striker Titus Chansa has extended his stay at current league defending champions, Power Dynamos, contrary to report he has left the club.
Chansa joined Power Dynamos last year, 2025, on a one-year loan deal from Mutondo Stars.
Prior to joining Power Dynamos, Chansa had a good season with Mutondo Stars, emerging as the club’s top scorer with 10 goals.
Reports linked the left-footed striker to Forest Rangers, at the expiration of his season long deal with Aba Yellow.
Speaking to Bolanews exclusively, Club Chief Executive Officer Gibson Chaloba confirmed that the player still belongs to Power Dynamos.
“He is still a Power Dynamos player,” said Chaloba.
Meanwhile, a close source to the player told Bolanews in an exclusive interview that Chansa has extended his stay at the club.
“He is still with Power Dynamos, and he signed a new contract that will see him stay up to the end of the season. The new contract signed is an extension of the loan deal that was set to expire in January,” explained the source.
The former Mutondo Stars striker is currently part of the squad that is in camp preparing to face Rivers United of Nigeria on Saturday.
Chansa was also on the bench for the match involving Mighty Mufulira Wanderers, where Power Dynamos won 1-0.
