MTN Super League outfit Mufulira Wanderers Football Club have parted ways with physical trainer Joseph Sitali following the expiration of his contract at the historic Shinde Stadium.

Sitali, who is also a former midfielder for the club during his playing days, served on the technical bench in a fitness and conditioning role.

His exit comes in the wake of the club’s recent restructuring, which saw the unveiling of a new technical bench led by head coach Lameck Banda.

When contacted for a comment, Sitali confirmed his exit and expressed readiness to embrace new opportunities.

“Yes, my contract with Mufulira Wanderers has come to an end. I’m grateful. It was an honor to serve in both capacities (player and physical trainer). I’m now looking forward to the next chapter in my career and I’m open to any offers from clubs in need of my services,” he said.

A respected figure in Zambian football circles, Sitali also featured for several top-flight teams during his playing career, including reigning league champions Power Dynamos.
