More than a decade after making his debut for the Chipolopolo Boys, Adrian Chama remains confident in his resolve to don the national colors.
Thereafter, Chama, 36, last played for the 2012 African Champions, four years ago.
Zambia will be making a return to the Africa Cup of Nations (AfCON) in Morocco next year, and Chama, who recently joined Nkwazi, is fancying a call-up.
At the weekend, Chama made his Nkwazi debut in a 1-1 draw against Nkana at Nkana Stadium.
His impact was felt both in defense and attack. He provided the assist to the goal that levelled matters in the 92nd minute.
Chama, told Bolanews that he is happy to return to the Super League and aims to keep giving his best for the police outfit while leaving his door open for a national team call-up.

“Will take one season at a time; seasons come, seasons go… I can feel it in me that I still have a couple of years left in me.
“The oldest player to have featured at the AfCON was 40 years old, and I am still far from 40. I am sure I can even play at the AfCON,” Chama said.
Chama made his Chipolopolo debut in 2014 in an international friendly against Japan when he came on as an 88th-minute sub for Jimmy Chisenga.
His last Chipolopolo appearance was on July 14, 2021, in a scoreless draw against South Africa at the COSAFA.
“I am sure I can contribute to the national team; it is every player’s dream…” he said.
