FC Muza goalkeeper Emmanuel Banda will be out of action for three to four weeks due to injury.
Banda suffered a shoulder dislocation in the 91st minute of the week five MTN Super League match against Forest Rangers FC at Dolahill Stadium last weekend.
The 20-year-old was unable to continue in the game and was replaced by goalkeeper Jairos Tembo.
The game finished 2-2, giving FC Muza their second draw of the season. The team has lost twice and won only once and sitting 16th in the relegation zone in the current campaign.
Banda has played in four Super League matches, keeping one clean sheet and conceding five goals.
He confirmed to BolaNews on Tuesday that he has begun treatment and will be out for at least two to three weeks.
“The shoulder was dislocated, but it’s now back in position. I have started treatment, but I will be out for two to three weeks,” said Banda.
This Saturday, FC Muza will host Zanaco in their sixth Super League match at Mazabuka’s Nakambala Stadium.
FC Muza and Zanaco have drawn two of their last three meetings, with the Mazabuka side defeating the Bankers once.
